A Comprehensive Approach to Treating the Lumbar Spine & Hip Using Manual & Tool Assisted Techniques
In this course you will learn how to both evaluate and treat the lumbar spine and hip joint complex, and appreciate their interconnectedness.
You will gain an understanding how to fully assess these two distinct regions and at the same time acknowledge the interplay between them, and how that affects movement, pain and dysfunction. We will approach the integration of anatomy, assessment and specific treatment techniques in an organized and comprehensive way. In addition, you will acquire information as to how to effectively treat the soft tissue structures involved in the presenting dysfunctions using T-bars (provided with this seminar) as well as more traditional and novel massage therapy techniques.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to confidently identify the most common hip pathologies and recognize the contribution of the lumbar spine in their presentation. You will then be able to choose the most appropriate tool to use to effectively treat the soft tissue component of the injury. These detailed techniques allow a more thorough path to lasting results that will bring back your clients time and time again. Set your practice apart from the rest with an elevation of information that most LMTs do not have.
